It's ok not to be ok
It’s a sad truth, but, we live in a sick society. A society that only appreciates popular, attractive, or aesthetically pleasing people, places, and things. There are pills for everything. Fast food is favoured over health food. Packaged food is laced with sugar, addictives, preservatives and gosh knows what else. GMO’S are becoming the new normal and it’s becoming an absolute feat to find anything in the supermarket that hasn’t been tampered with….
There is a focus on doing, rather than being. There is an alarming disconnect from the source of most natural things. As a result, we have become disconnected from the essence of who we are, from others around us; we have bought into the illusion of separation, Natural medicine is deemed “alternative,” when it really should be looked upon as the norm as synthetic medicine takes a hard back -seat. Unfortunately, we all want a “quick-fix,” something to ease the pain immediately and because of this we do not give our body the opportunity to heal for the long game.
So, we choose to run away from pain rather than move through it, covering it up with a band aide, so that which we do not want to see or feel remains hidden.
Therein lies our real problem.
When we cover up the root cause of any “dis-ease” with pharmaceuticals, or turn a blind eye from the internal struggle ensuing, the real pain does not subside. It starts to bubble beneath the surface until it has nowhere to escape, it begins to present itself in physical form in the shape of pain, distress and chronic illness.
When did organic, homeopathic, natural medicine become reduced from the mainstream?
When did it become more lucrative to keep people sick?
Who decided it was ok to tell you, you couldn’t heal yourself, by yourself?
When did we stop listening to the intuitive power of our body to heal naturally?
When did we stop and say, hey, I’m not ok and that’s ok?!
To feel into our pain and really go there, accept it for what it is; painful.
To find the source of all the discomfort and to release it completely from the body with practice and intention.
Why? well, it’s ok to question…but perhaps you know the answer already.
Try to be still enough to listen….
Your body is speaking volumes….
Our bodies are constantly healing, cells regenerating, consciousness expanding, our bodies are intelligent beyond our comprehension.
Why not give your body the chance to do something extraordinary.
To be not just OK, but better than OK. To thrive and feel alive every single day.
Can I tell you a little secret?
It’s possible, in every single way.
Namaste,
Ramone
